BrazilFoundation offers a trusted way for individuals and corporations who wish to support an organization of their choice in Brazil. The Foundation channels funding - following diligent review - to Brazilian nonprofit organizations recommended by donors - individuals and corporations in the US and in Brazil.

Support a Project of Your Choice

Choose and recommend a specific Brazilian non-profit organization or project you would like to invest in.

BrazilFoundation screens the organization to assure for quality and accountability.

The recipient institution completes a form detailing how the resources would be used. Based on this information, BrazilFoundation determines if the organization is fit to receive the grant. Once the BrazilFoundation Board of Directors approves the grant, you will be informed and the grant will be issued.

BrazilFoundation retains exclusive legal control over donations for recommended non-profit organizations. It will take donor recommendation under consideration, but will maintain discretion over the disbursement of funds, after final review of the proposed project.

BrazilFoundation collects an administrative fee of 8% if the amount of the gift is under US$50,000, or 5% if it is above this amount.

Contributions to BrazilFoundation are tax deductible. In the US, individuals can deduct up to 50% of their adjusted gross income; companies may deduct up to 10% of their (pre-donation) taxable income. In Brazil, companies can deduct 2% of operating profits.
